Woodin Patterns We Use For Maths

Our junior scope and sequence is based on the Woodin patterns.  These patterns help children understand that a symbol represents a quantity.  Children develop an automatic recognition of the patterns and then use this understanding of knowing the whole and its parts to develop skills in all four operations.

Practicing with these patterns at home is a great way you can help.
